We have new bits!??
As some have noticed, I have not been writing content for Zen Elements Blog recently and for that I am sorry. I have instead been burning many drops of oil in the early morning hours to develop behind the scenes of this blog and now – while playing with the occasional Christmas Banner too – WE HAVE NEW BITS!
Social Media & Networking is something I am passionate about. I want to continue to give back a little by sharing my experiences, the things I learn, pick up or develop and to do that, I felt I needed a better blog! So I got out my doodling paper and made a list of the areas I was going to improve on Zen Elements Blog and here they are…
We have Excerpts!

To make it all a little easier to find your way past old content, articles have been scaled down and along with a little picture. Now, instead of finding 5 full – sometimes rather lengthy – posts per page, you have 7 particular excerpts which you are welcome to click on and continue reading…
We have new Comments & Feedback!

Since first launching the blog I have wanted to re-write these and finally it is done! You will also find the ‘Recent Comments’ within the footer actually has, Recent Comments in it now too!
Like it? Share it! We have it!

I have implemented a larger range of Social Bookmarking / News sites that Zen Elements is more commonly active on. If you like an article, please, share it!
On another note due to moving things about for this, we have also lost everything that was in the past dugg, stumbled and shared so if you would be so kind… Digg & Stumble them up again! Thank you.
We have some new CSS
Too make it slightly easier when posting tutorial images, code, etc… I have included some further CSS and this shall hopefully be popping up in soon coming tutorials everywhere!
We have pages!

Newer Posts… Older Posts… It got a bit tedious for finding specific articles so with a little help from wp-pagenavi, We have pages!
We are on, WordPress 2.7!

I upgraded to WordPress 2.7 a little while ago and while I had hoped greatly to be writing a review of this application, I just could not find the time. Instead, if you are interested, please find a list of one or two reviews that aided in my decision to upgrade:
- WordPress Coltrane
- AlexTips – I liked the name…
- NETTUTS
We had jQuery Scrolling…
I applied a scrolling effect for when users want to get back to the top, using the ‘top’ button on the bottom right and scrolling smoothly up the page. This was something I had to implement to see if I liked. I did not and so it has been removed. The button and function is still there though, just, it is a plain old – and more effective – anchor point.
I hope you enjoyed reading this and are looking forward to the tutorials and things that will soon be in writing.
…Oh, today also happens to be my Birthday!
Thank you for reading!
