Have reverted back to ver 3 as I experiences major problems connecting with ver 3.

Getting global call history was not quite as easy.

You're quite right about the history tab fusedreality. I've been so busy I overlooked that in my notes when typing everything up. You cover it well anyway so thank you for your 2 cents!

I’ve been having some fun with skype 4 as well, but I was kinda ticked off mainly due to the lack of features present on release. For example, the entire history tab is missing–meaning that after playing one voicemail you pretty much loose it. They’re working on it, but it’s a little but unsettling to think that it may have been dropped out of consideration, as there wasn’t even a holding page/section for it.

Backwards compatibility hasn’t been an issue for me while I’ve been using it, but I’ve only had voice calls with friends. Video, while I’ve got the compatibility, hasn’t been tested mainly due to the fact I never seem to find anyone online with the features…

But just as you said.. it takes up a lot of extra space, and in my opinion it does take up too much. When you’re not doing anything with it, the information info on the right doesn’t need to be displayed… So I kinda hope that in the next release they make that area only appear when required.

So, i’m pretty close to you in comparison but some of the lack of features is making me downgrade until they implement them.

Just my 2 cents.
