A Micro-Blogging Site? A Social Media Site.. Networ.. It’s a site.

Further Definition:
PLURK is a Micro-Blogging site that has recently grown in popularity with such quotes as ‘It is the next TWITTER’, ‘It is better that TWITTER with less technical problems’, ‘This is the type of site that will change the internetz!’.
PLURK has introduced a timeline into Micro-Blogging that in turn introduces a more instant messaging feel to Social Networking. Where TWITTER is great for letting friends and followers know what you are up to, PLURK gets more attention and interaction from your friends and watchers.

So, upon pondernig on those earlier quotes; I decided to spend the duration of my evening and morning (…until 4am) on PLURK to see what it is all about and I have to say, it is B****Y good! I enjoy the functionality incorporated into the site greatly, the feel of the community and the responses people will give at your ‘plurks’. It’s good.

PLURK is NOT without its problems though! In fact, this very stint of PLURKING encountered some downtime, ironically as I was first writing my review of PLURK! It was minimal downtime but it was the first signs that ANY Social Networking website can only take so much.

Evaluation:
SO all in all, Zen Elements is [loving] PLURK and will continue to use it and see how it develops and maintains over time. Having said that though, I will ALSO still continue using TWITTER too!
